Fall Jackets

It's finally fall and the temperature has started to go down! I couldn't be happier! I mean lets face it Fall fashion is honestly the best. I love that the weather is just cool enough now that you can add a light jacket. Choose classic leather, opt for some suede or even go for a fun tribal print jacket to transform a simple t-shirt and jeans look into a more polished chic look. Here are some jackets that I currently have my eye on. They are from Nordstrom's Savvy Department. I was just in the store this week and I was absolutely loving everything that I saw. So go check them out for yourself and let me know which one you would choose! My personal favorite is the Like Mynded Tribal Pattern Jacket!

Tonight I am so excited to be going to Phashion Phest with one of my good friends. Well get to see the latest fall fashions and beauty trends from local philadelphia designers and salons. I am so looking forward to having a night out, dressing up and being around things that I love!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Denim + Leather

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Most of my weekend was spent playing outside with the kids and doing yard work. The weather has been perfect lately and I'm so glad there's finally a bit of a chill in the air at night. Here is one of my looks I wore over the weekend. I am loving these new Frenchi faux leather leggings. They are so comfortable and easy to wear. Paired with a silk tank top, a denim shirt on top and a pair of leather booties it made the perfect weekend outfit.

Currently Craving

Fall weather has finally approached us! So what better way to celebrate the cooler weather than with some new clothes and accessories! Here are some of my picks that I am currently loving at the moment! Enjoy!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Jacquard dress

Hello Retro 60's! This box dress is reminiscent of the popular style introduced in the early 60's by the Brits that put them in the center of the fashion world for the first time in the 19th century.  Sometimes, our greatest inspirations for new looks come from past fashion history with a take on present day updates.
This Jacquard dress from Zara exemplifies the 60's look with a modern day take. This new look is
definitely a favorite of mine.

Sequined Sweatshirt + Leather Hat

Today is another sweatshirt look. I am just loving these bold graphic print sweatshirts and I find that dressing them up is so much fun. I purchased this one at Forever 21. I just loved the boldness to it and the fact that it is covered in sequins made me love it even more. With a pair of bordeaux coated skinnies and a matching leather hat I'm just loving this rocker chic look! So what do you think? Will you opt for a more edgy/dressed up look next time you wear a sweatshirt?

Boom Baby!

Hi everyone! Here is today's look! I am just loving this comic book style "boom" sweatshirt! It was one of the items that I just couldn't wait to get my hands on from the Phillip Lim collection at Target. I love mixing pieces that can be dressed up or down and this sweatshirt was no exception. I decided to give this look a little edge with wearing my favorite faux leather skinnies. Sweatshirts don't always have to be dressed down. Add some heels to your look and you'll instantly look chic!

Weekend review

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend. My weekend consisted of running around, doing errands and trying to get my 21 month old daughter to stay in her crib. It started Saturday morning when she woke my husband and I up by yelling "Hi Guys!" She sounded so excited and was obviously very proud of herself that she managed to get out all on her own. So I spent all of her nap time and bedtime standing by her bedroom door  just waiting for her to come back out. After a good 20 times (each) she got the hint and finally went to sleep. Oh the joys of being a mommy! I must say that the first couple of times she came out I did catch myself laughing because I couldn't believe that this little girl could get out all on her own. She acted so sweet and so innocent everytime she opened her door. But I must not let her cuteness get to me! Anyway, in other news.. Who went to Target yesterday for the debut of the Phillip Lim collection?  I set my alarm for 5:30 so I could get there by 7. I've been counting down the weeks until this collection hit the stores.  I think I got there too early as I was one of two cars sitting in the parking lot! Once inside we ended up having to go on a huge scavenger hunt to search for the Phillip Lim goodies. My target didn't even have the display up yet and we picked right out of their shipping boxes!  I got everything I wanted and was even able to step back and admire everything without a huge gathering of people swiping everything up in front of me. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised of how good of quality everything was. Even the bags were well made and for the prices you absolutely can't beat it! I think this was definitely a home run for Target and Phillip Lim. Stay tuned this week to see what I got and how I will style my pieces.

What I wore

I am so looking forward to fall weather. Fall fashion is honestly my favorite and  I can't wait to pull my boots and sweaters out. I've literally had enough of this hot weather and with temperatures still reaching the 90's I'm getting a bit depressed while trying to get dressed in the morning.  So today I threw on one of my favorite maxi dresses. It's light  and airy and simple enough to wear while chasing two kids around all day.

Wish List:

Here are my current picks that I would love to see in my closet asap! Pair a graphic sweater with a leather skirt for a instant cool casual look. Fall weather is approaching so what better way to start wearing your sweaters then to pair them with a link necklace that boldly accents your neck. Choose a pair of leopard booties. Well because who doesn't like leopard? Finish it off with an amazing black clutch. I am loving the Gigi New York black embossed python bag. Perfect for everyday!

             Have a fantastic day!

Back to School..

Happy Monday Everyone! It was back to school today for my little guy! Which means our lazy, carefree days of summer are officially over. Back to early mornings, and routines. My look today is a simple one. I'm wearing my favorite Wayf track pants. They are so comfortable, I could honestly wear them everyday. I paired them with a plain white t-shirt and some studded flats to jazz my outfit up a bit. Perfect for a hectic morning!

Takes after his mom! Showing off his new Nike sneakers!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone!! I have been thinking about doing my own fashion blog for quite some time now. I guess you can say I caught the blog bug! I've always been into fashion since I was a little girl, it's the one thing in my life that i've always remained truly passionate about. I want to keep my blog more on the casual side, which is true to my every day style. I'll be featuring different pieces from many different price points to keep it more attainable for most as well as remixing my favorite basics to create different looks!

Stay tuned for more!
