Happy hump day! Hope everyone's week is going well thus far!

Today, I'm sharing a look I wore over the weekend. I just bought these black skinny jeans from Top Shop and I absolutely love them. I've purchased several Top Shop jeans in the past (love the Joni style!) but these by far are my favorite in terms of style and color. They say size runs small but I found my normal size to fit just perfect.

I also have to make a quick mention about this faux leather tote bag. It's by far one of my favorite every day totes that I use to run errands, especially with my kids in tow. It holds so much without getting bulky and the straps are incredibly durable. Great buy for under $50!

Thanks for reading!

Ugh! I was really hoping to have had this outfit posted many days ago, but life once again decided to throw me yet another curve ball. After a week of being in and out of the hospital and doctors offices for extreme abdominal pain, I'm finally feeling like myself again. After various testing's and an MRI, a rather large cyst was found on my ovary that had ended up rupturing on its own (thank goodness!) but up until that point the amount of pain I was in left me unable to get much done. I'm so thankful for my wonderful boyfriend and family for helping me get through the last week!

I've been living in these sneakers for the last two weeks. I've never been a sneaker type of girl but I've been finding myself reaching for these Nike sneaks more so than anything else. I just loved them paired with my faux leather pants, for a chic and sporty but totally functional day time look.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Ahh it feels good to be back! After taking a mini hiatus from blogging, I'm so excited to finally have an outfit post up and running! It's been such a crazy few weeks, between the damage done to my home from a pipe that burst, the holidays and my kids being off from school, not to mention New Jersey has been experiencing some crazy weather that put a halt on some shooting time. I'm hoping that things remain relatively quiet for a while, so I can continue to be more consistent on posting!

I hope everyone is doing well and that so far 2016 is treating everyone well!!

All Aboard The Polar Express

Sorry for being MIA the last two days! (If you didn't see my snapchat @casuallystyled) A pipe burst in my hall bathroom resulting in major water damage throughout my entire home. Just about every ceiling, flooring and wall needed to be removed. My house is looking like a complete demolition site right now, which is so depressing, especially with Christmas next week. Thankfully, no one was injured and of course everything can be replaced.

Sunday, my mom and sister and I, took the kids to Phillipsburg, New Jersey for a Polar Express Train Ride along the Delaware River Excursion. The train ride, set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, we enjoyed a trip complete with hot chocolate and cookies, with live singing and performances from hobos and juggling chefs. Santa made a special appearance for pictures and gave each child their own sleigh bell, just like in the movie, to those who believe! This has been a family tradition of ours for the last several years and the kids just absolutely love it! This time of year is just so magical and despite a few rough months, nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids smile.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Have a great day,

Happy Monday! Today, I am excited to share a new look with you that's a bit different from my normal style. One of the reason's why I love the holiday season so much, is for the opportunity to dress up for holiday parties. I absolutely loved wearing this polka dotted tutu from Dainty Jewell's to a recent holiday party over the weekend. It's just so chic and feminine but still subtle than most tutus. Dainty Jewell's, if you haven't heard of them before, is an online women's boutique, specializing in modest apparel that is infused with the latest trends. Dainty Jewell's began as a creative outlet for the founder, Charity Jewell. She designs all her pieces for women who want to dress conservative but still maintain a chic and fashionable appearance.
