Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I am definitely no stranger to the overall trend that has swept the fashion world the last few months. I basically lived in my shortalls all summer long, so it was only necessary to find a pair that would equally fulfill my overall obsession in the colder months. My search ended when I was shopping at Nordstrom last week and spotted my new favorite pair in their junior department. I love the lighter wash and the subtle distressing throughout. I find them to be incredibly chic when paired with heels but they also look pretty amazing when paired with some converses for a more casual weekend ensemble.

Have you tried the overall trend yet? If so what are your thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by!

Quilted Crop Top: Xhileration (n/a online, check your local store) | Quilted Skater Skirt: Xhileration | Leather Wrap Heels: Pixie Market (limited sizes left) or very similar here

Can never go wrong with a matching two piece set! On one of my many weekly trips to Target, (yea, I visit this store way more then I should). I spotted this quilted crop top and matching skater skirt set. I immediately headed to the dressing room to try it on and fell in love. The skater skirt sits just high enough on the waist leaving only a slither of skin visible when worn with the matching crop top, ensuring a chic but tasteful look. Total price of outfit? $34.98! Simply can not beat it!

I just love the simplicity of a black and white outfit. Chic and sophisticated at it's finest! I purchased this leather mini skirt last year and although I don't get that much use out of it, it's a great little addition to have in your closet for those days when you want to feel a bit sexy and perhaps a little bad ass! I don't know what it is about leather but I can't get enough, so expect to see a lot of leather pieces this season! I also can't get enough of these suede fringe booties from Koolaburra. With fringe currently being at the top of the trends list, these booties are totally killing it! I always talk about accessorizing your outfits with a killer pair of shoes and these will definitely make some heads turn!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!!

Have a great day!

Black and white floral sleeveless dress: Three Pink Hearts by Trixxi Girl via Kohls c/o |  Faux leather jacket: Express (absolutely a new favorite of mine!!) | Black leather clutch: J.Crew (old) similar here | Black leather booties: Halogen

Happy Monday, loves! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today's post is filled with lots of favorites! A clothing brand that is quickly filling up my closet with happiness, this must have faux leather jacket and these amazing leather booties, plus the announcement of the winner from last week's Blogiversary post!

I'll start of by talking about Trixxi Girl, who was first mentioned on the blog last week (seen here). They're a Los Angeles clothing company specializing in junior dresses and sportswear. You can find their line carried in every major department store and I just can't get enough of their fun and fashion forward pieces. Definitely recommend checking out their latest collections available here!

I now want to touch base on some gorgeous leather goodies that are definitely going to be on heavy rotation this season. I've been on the search for a black leather jacket for quite some time now and finally found a winner at Express. I actually owe my latest obsession purchase to my good friend Gina from The Daily Express (her blog is amazing btw!!) Where she recently showed a pic wearing hers here! I adore this jacket so much and I am so glad that I decided to purchase it, I definitely suggest checking it out! Now on to the booties! No outfit is ever complete without a killer pair of shoes! These booties my friends, are amazing!! I picked them up during Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale and although they were on sale at the time, I would definitely pay full price. They're actually quite comfortable and will give any look that extra wow factor.

Now on to more important matters, The $50 Nordstrom Giveaway Winner is….

Congratulations Rachelle from Pink Sole!!!  Thank you so much for entering! I will be sending you out an email today!

Thank you to all who entered! I am excited to do more giveaways in the future!

I also want to take a quick second and thank Gina from The Daily Express for featuring me last week on her virtual coffee date segment! Click here to read a fun Q&A!

Have a great day!

Floral Long Sleeve Romper: Loft | Wine Colored Booties: Tommy Hilfiger (last year) similar style and color here | Ring: YSL (limited colors) | Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli

It's officially starting to feel like fall! The nights here have definitely cooled down and I am absolutely loving it! A few weeks back I visited the Loft to shop some new arrivals and spotted this long sleeve floral romper. It's the perfect outfit for the transitioning of seasons since the weather can still be a tad warm during the day but chillier at night. I also couldn't resist breaking out my favorite wine colored booties that I wore many times last fall and winter. I linked a similar pair above and I highly recommend checking them out!

I also want to thank everyone again for all the continued support as I go onto my second year of blogging. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the sweet comments left on Monday's post. The amount of love I felt was just beyond appreciated.

Don't forget, Sunday is the last day to participate in the $50 Nordstrom gift card giveaway! One lucky winner will be announced on Monday (9/15) Good luck!

Toughen Up

Leather Top: Halogen | Denim Overalls: Target (sold out) similar here and love the long version here | Black leather clutch: J.Crew (old) similar here (have this clutch in blue and love it, last seen here) | Heels: Zara (old) similar style here

Who knew denim overalls could be so chic? I've worn them quite a bit this year and I have to say that they're probably one of my favorite summer trends. For today's look I decided to toughen them up and turn up the chic factor by pairing them with a leather top and some ankle strap heels. I love how something so basic and casual could be turned into something edgy and fashion forward. This is definitely one of my favorite looks!

Be sure to follow me on Instagram @ericazar as I am participating in a giveaway with some amazing bloggers for a chance to win a Rebecca Minkoff cross body!
